2 Warm up (5’)
- T put up the phonics cards from the previous unit (pen, pony, panda, parrot) on the board
- T write the letters of the words around them in random order
- Ask the students to write the words in their notebooks

3 New lesson (30’)
*Activitiy 1: Listen, point and repeat Colour (8’)
- T introduction of letter Q, Its sound and how to
pronounce the words beginning with Qq

Activity: Step on It Game (5’)
- T puts the phonics cards in a circle on the
floor
- Play the song (Track 12)
- Ss walk around the cards
- T stop the music and name an item on one of
the cards (e.g: question)
- Ss race to step on that orange card
- The first student to step on it is the winner
and name the card missing
