I Objective:

1 Language focus:

- By the end of this lesson, students will be able to recognize the /e/ and /f/ sounds

Vocabulary: Letters Ee, Ff, elephant, food.

2 Skill:

- Listening, speaking, reading, writing

3 Attitude:

- Encourage Ss to use the structure more regulary

II Teaching aids:

+ Teacher’s aids: Ss’book and teacher’s book, class CDs, flashcards, projector /TV + Students’ aids: Student book, notebooks, workbook.

III Method:

- Model - Talk - Practice, individual work, pair work, group work

IV Procedures:

1 Organization:

1D Thursday, November 26th 2020

2 Warm up (5’)

*Activity: “Sing the alphabet song”

- T play the alphabet song and asks Ss to listen

- T play the CD again for Ss to sing the song

- T put the flashcards on the board for the letters in red (e and f)

- T point to each flashcard, call out the letter's name and asks Ss to repeat

3 New lesson (30’)

*Activity 1 Listen and repeat Trace (7’)

- T play the CD and asks Ss to listen and repeat

- T demonstrate tracing the letters with their

finger

- T asks Ss to trace the letters with their fingers

(individuals/ pairs)

- T calls some Ss demonstrate the activity in front

of the class

*Activity 2 Listen and repeat (8’)

- T asks Ss to look at the picture

- T demonstrate the activity

1 Listen and point, repeat

a Vocab elephant: con voi

2 Listen and repeat.

- T play the CD and asks Ss to point to the letter

as they hear it

- T play the CD again and asks Ss to listen and

repeat

- T asks Ss to demonstrate the activity in front of

the class

*Activity 3 Sing (5’)

- T asks Ss to look at the lyrics

- T read the lyrics as a whole class

- T play the CD and asks Ss to listen

- T play the CD again and asks Ss to listen and

sing along

*Activity 4 Listen and jump (5’)

- T demonstrate the activity

- T asks Ss stand up

- T ask Ss to jump when they hear the letter

sound

*Activity: Back- to- back (5’)

- Pair off Ss

- T asks Ss to sit back-to-back

- Student 1 speaks one letter, the other writes this

letter on a piece of paper, then reverse roles

all together and individually

- T plays the CD and asks Ss to listen and repeat

- T demonstrate tracing the letters with your
