* The simple past tense : Thì quá khứ đơn
1 Công thức : - Thể khẳng định : S + V2/ Ved
- Thể phủ định : S + didn’t + V1/ Vo
- Thể nghi vấn : Did + S + V1/ Vo ? -> Yes, S + did/ No, S + didn’t
+ V2: là động từ bất qui tắc ở cột thứ 2 ( Ex: go ( V1) -> went (V2) , )
+ Ved : Là động từ hợp qui tắc thêm ed vào ( Ex : watch ( Vo) -> watched ( Ved), )
@ Một số qui tắc thêm ed:
1 Những động từ có âm tận cùng là e thì chỉ thêm d ( Ex: live -> lived, …)
2 Những động từ có âm tận cùng là y , có 2 trường hợp a/ Nếu âm liền trước y là nguyên âm ( a, o,e, u, i ) thì giữ nguyên y và thêm ed
( Ex : play -> played, …)
b/ Nếu âm liền trước y là phụ âm thì đổi y thành i rồi thêm ed ( Ex: fly -> flied,…)
3 Những động từ chỉ có một âm tiết, tận cùng là một phụ âm, trươc phụ âm là
một nguyên âm, gấp đôi phụ âm khi thêm ed ( Ex: stop -> stopped,…)
@ Cách phát âm ed:
2 Động từ có ch, s, x, sh, f, k, p, gh ,c ở cuối phát âm là “ t” (Ex: helped, washed, )
3 Các trường hợp còn lại phát âm là “ d” ( Ex: learned, gathered, )
+ Động từ to be ở thì quá khứ có 2 dạng: was/ were
-> I, you, we, they, Ns + were -> he, she, it, N + was
+ Didn’t = did not
2 Cách dùng: * Dấu hiệu : yesterday, ago, last, in 2019,
II EXERCISES: BÀI TẬP
1 Xếp các động từ sau theo cách phát âm của tận cùng “ed”.
2 Cho dạng quá khứ của các động từ sau ( Học thuộc lòng các động từ bất qui tắc này nhé!)
