1 Future simple tense: (7’)
- Give out an example and elecit the form and use of
future simple tense from Ss
Ex: I will visit Hue Citadel next week.
- Consolidate the knowledge
- Elicit the use of “be going to” from Ss and ask them
to give out some examples
2 Past progressive tense: (8’)
- Ask Ss to give out some example and elicit the
form and use of future simple tense from Ss
Ex: I was cooking dinner at 5 pm yesterday.
* Form: S + was/were + V-ing + O + A.
- Consolidate the knowledge
3 Present perfect tense: (8’)
Ex: a) I have already finished my homework.
b) Has she seen that film yet?
No She hasn’t seen that film yet.
- Elicit the form and use of present perfect tense from
Ss
- Ask them to give some notes to recognise this
tense
