1 Aims

Reading a text to understand Tim’s letter about his parents’ job and practice more

in the present simple tense

2 Practice skill

- Practice the comprehension reading skill,read and answer the qts :a-e

3 The knowledge needs to get

+ Standard knowledge: Read and understand a text for details about America’s

workers

+ Advanced knowledge: Retell about Tim’s family.

4 Basic language

- Vocabulary: take care of, work part- time, play golf, mechanic, machine, shift, homeless

Tenses: use present simple tense to talk about activities, body of the letter

- Help ss to have good consciousness in order to practice reading for details
