1 In the situation where domestic and foreign researchers have not reached an agreement on the terminology of children's literature, we have proposed an understanding of this terminology This is the argument’s foundation for us to carry out the topic but at the same time is a reference suggestion for those who study children's literature – a part of literature has not received an adequate attention

in the process of receiving the influence of folk literature is the important content of the topic The authors do not receive the passive influence of folk literature but express the sense of "assimilating" folk literature in their art world Thus, Vietnamese children’s books from 1975 to 2010 are close to the "popular literature” and show the ability to resist "scholarly literature”

5 The topic also helps us make an objective assessment of the meaning of borrowing phenomena, learning the folk literature of the children's books in the period of 1975-2010 The theoretical and practical meanings generalized in the dissertation will be a meaningful suggestion for the composers Cooperation with folk literature is what has happened and should be continued The writers who make good connections with folk culture almost say good bye to young readers therefore we put our trust in the next composers
