- Pupils can recognize and say the sound /e/

- Pupils can develop fine motor control

II Procedures

*Warm up: Review the word Dd.

A Presentation

1 Learn the letter

Step 1: Say Ee, egg and elephant Pupils repeat the words.

Step 2: Write them on the board and read aloud the words

Step 3: Have pupils repeat the letter name and letter sound.

Step 4: Tell pupils to practice.

B Practice

2 Sing

Step 1: Play the CD Tell pupils to listen to the song.

Step 2: Play the CD again and pause after each line Sing the line and tell pupils to

repeat after teacher

Step 3: Play CD again and ask pupils to sing the song.

C Production

3 Find

Step 1: Tell pupils to find the letter e in the alphabet.

Step 2: Tell pupils to look at the main picture on page 18.

Step 3: Say egg and elephant Check that pupils are pointing to the egg and elephant.

Step 1: Write the number 3 and 4

Step 2: Say three and four.

Step 3: Point to the correct picture.

Step 4: Check that pupils are pointing to the correct picture.

B Practice

2 Sing

Step 1: Play the CD Tell pupils to listen to the song.

Step 2: Play the CD again and pause after each line Sing the line and tell pupils to

repeat after teacher

Step 3: Play CD again and ask pupils to sing the song.

3 Sing and do

Step 1: Give the four number flashcards for 4 pupils.

Step 2: Ask two or three pupils to stand at the door and sing the lines Knock, knock,

knock, on the door and Come in! Time for fun!

Step 3: Tell the rest of the pupils to sing the other lines.
