II Procedures

*Warm up: Review the letters a-x on the board.

Step 1: Tell pupils to look at picture 4

Step 2: Divide the class into six groups Assign each group four letters.

Step 3: Explain that pupils are going to write one of the capital and lower case forms

of their four assigned letters on one side of each shape

2 Sing

Step 1: Play the CD Tell pupils to listen to the song.

Step 2: Play the CD again and pause after each line Sing the line and tell pupils to

repeat after teacher

Step 3: Play CD again and ask pupils to sing the song.

3 Sing and point

Step 1: Ask each pupil to present the letters and pictures on his or her mobile

Step 2: Tell the pupils to sing a song again as they point to the mobile with those

letters

Step 1: Say yo-yo, yogurt, zebra and zero Pupils repeat the words.

Step 2: Write them on the board and read aloud the words

Step 3: Have pupils repeat the letter word and letter sound.

Step 4: Tell pupils to practice.

Step 1: Play the CD Tell pupils to listen to the song.

Step 2: Play the CD again and pause after each line Sing the line and tell pupils to
