- Pupils can recognize and say the sound /l/ and /m/

II Procedures

*Warm up: Review the capital forms of letters a-k.

A Presentation

1 Learn the letter

Step 1: Say lemon, lion, mango and moon Pupils repeat the words.

Step 2: Write them on the board and read aloud the words

Step 3: Have pupils repeat the letter name and letter sound.

Step 4: Tell pupils to practice.

B Practice

2 Sing

Step 1: Play the CD Tell pupils to listen to the song.

Step 2: Play the CD again and pause after each line Sing the line and tell pupils to

repeat after teacher

Step 3: Play CD again and ask pupils to sing the song.

C Production

3 Find

Step 1: Tell pupils to find the letter l and m in the alphabet.

Step 2: Tell pupils to look at the picture at the bottom of the page.

Step 3: Say lemon, lion, mango, moon Check that pupils are pointing to the lemon,

II Procedures

*Warm up: Sing a song.

A Presentation

1 Count 1-9

Step 1: Write the number 8 and 9

Step 2: Say eight and nine.

Step 3: Point to the correct picture.

Step 4: Check that pupils are pointing to the correct picture.

B Practice

2 Listen and find

Step 1: Say the words at random, e.g donkey, duck, cat and bird.

Step 2: Point and ask children for the sound of each animal.

Step 3: Play CD and pause after each word Pupils listen and point to the object in

their books

C Production

3 Sing

Step 1: Play the CD Tell pupils to listen to the song.

Step 2: Play the CD again and pause after each line Sing the line and tell pupils to

repeat after teacher

Step 3: Play CD again and ask pupils to sing the song.
