IV Procedure:

1 Warm up (7 minutes)

- Give the game of Hangman with the word

“youth organization”. - Play the game to find out “Key word”

2 Pre reading (10 minutes)

- Presents the lesson

- Introduces the content of the text: In

grade 7, we learned about Boy Scouts of

America and Girl Guides Association What

do you remember/ know about these

associations?

- Ask Ss to find out the new words in the

text

- Retell about “Boy Scouts of America and Girl Guide Association”

* Checking old lesson:

- Call 2 Ss to retell about the Boy Scouts

and the Girl Guides Association - 2 Ss retell main information about the Boyscouts and the Girl Guides Association

2 Pre writing (12 minutes)

- Asks SS to look at the notice

- This is the notice from Y& Y to its

members You read it and tell me what

activities this organization is going to do.

- Explains some new words and phrases

- Ask Ss to read the notice again and

complete Nga’s letter to Linh about Y& Y

plan by filling the missing information in

the blank
