Abstract: [Objective] To observation the therapeutic effect of Yizhi ointment combined with acupuncture on mental retardation with kidney essence deficiency [Methods] The 68 children were divided into treatment group and control group according to random number table, the treatment one taking Yizhi ointment, with acupuncture and rehabilitation training, the other one just with acupuncture and rehabilitation training The scores of IQ scores were calculated by Nimodiping method using Chinese Wechsler and Child Intelligence Scale [Results] The treatment one was effective The overall clinical efficacy was better than that in the control one, and the difference was statistically significant between two groups (P <0.05) [Conclusion] Yizhi ointment with acupuncture treatment of nephrotic insufficiency of mental retardation of clinical efficacy is exact.
