Cao.The story set in Vu Dai village, where Chi
Pheo lives He grows up and becomes a strong
and kind farmer He works for Ba Kien but Ba Kien put him in prison When he returns , he meets Thi
No and falls in love with her.… .
Nam Cao is famour for the short stories –
interesting, sensitive,sympathetic They give us pictures of the hard life of poor farmers in the old
society

O’ Henry’s famous short stories – sensitive, funny, sympathetic – give us vivid pictures of the
