UNIT 3: WAYS OF SOCIALISING -LANGUAGE FOCUS 2

I Objectives:

1 Educational aim: Students can pronounce the stress in two- syllable words and

know how to change a sentence to reported speech

2 Knowledge:

- General knowledge: By the end of the lesson, students will be able to:

+ Review of the ways of changing the reported speech

+ Students can do the tasks well

- Language: the ways of changing the reported speech

3 Skill: the stress in two- syllable words

II Method: Intergrated, mainly communicative

III Teaching aids: Board, tape, cassetteplayer, chalks, textbook and notebook

IV Procedures:

I Review stress in two-syllable words.( 8mins)

Choose the word whose main stress is placed

differently from the others.

II Grammar: (32 minutes)

Exercise 1: III Turn each direct speech statement

into indirect speech with tense changes.

1 'I knew nothingabout the problem?
