Trang 31 Introduction.
1.1 Reasons of choosing the topic.
Today, English is not only the most popular language in the world but it is a
popular foreign language in Viet Nam, as well Therefore, proficiency in Englishwill be a great advantage for future jobs as well as have opportunities to startbusiness in the global integration nowadays To keep up with this process, teaching and learning English is paid attention especially by Ministry ofeducation and training in our country The national foreign language project

in practical life
If teachers only provides students with grammars and vocabularies withoutthe direction of communicative situations, students will be feel frightened, confused when communicating, especially communicating with Englishspeakers, because students don’t have oppotunities to apply their knowledge inreal- life situations From the above reasons, I am always anxious to find outwhat communicative situations the students usually make mistakes whenspeaking and doing exercises to help them more confident in English Theteaching initiative “ Solving some mistakes about situations of communicativeEnglish exercises for students high school”
1.2 Aim of the study.

wonderful sources of communicative English materials And by applying theinitiative, teachers will help students solve mistakes when doing communicativeexercises in exams
In addition, I also want to help students integrate knowledge about Englishgrammar and vocabularies with communicative situations to haveunderstandings about real situations in life as well as restrict mistakes whendoing exercises

Trang 42 Contents
2.1 Theoretical background.
The concept of communicative approach is an approach to languageteaching that emphasizes interaction as both the means and the ultimate goal ofstudy Language learners learn and practice the target language through theinteraction with one another and the instructor, and through the use of thelanguage both in class and outside class
Learners converse about personal experiences with partners andinstructors teach topics outside of the real of traditional grammar in order topromote language skill in all types of situations This encourages learners toincorporate their personal experiences into their language learning environment The goal of language education is the ability to communicative in thetarget language A language learner needs to understand and expresscommunicative meanings rather than describe the core of language throughtraditional concepts of grammar and vocabulary
From the grounds above, understanding and expressing communicativeEnglish situations play an essential role in learning progress Therefore, I findout and analyze mistakes, learners usually make when communicating or doingexercies related to it
2.2 The status of the problem.
The informants of the study consist of 12B students from three classes
10A9, 11A1 and 11A2 and 7 teachers of English at Le Hoan high school
- To the teachers
Most of the teachers are highly qualified, enthusiastic and keen on learning. They have taught communicative English lessons and lesson plans about it.However, there are some teachers who don’t still feel confident when teachingsituations and have some difficulties in solving exercises about communicativeexercises in national high school exams In addition, most of teachers only focus
on teaching vocabularies, grammars, developing reading and writing skills butthey have little paid attention to speaking skill
2.3 Solutions to the problem.
From the theoritical and practical basic, I find study and summarize the
mistakes students usually make a misunderstand when they communicative ordoing exercises related to communicative English situations Therefore, in theschool year 2019 – 2020, I have applied my findings in teaching to help studentsdevelop communicative skills as well as feel confident in doing exercises related
