5.7 Material handling, storage and delivery

12 Risk and control
12.1 Electric safety management

Wear safety goggles or face shield when necessary

12.7 Fire management system
It is the foremost objective to protect human life and properties
Therefore, all fire hazard elements must be considered to eliminate or minimize loss of property and lives
To this end the following measures are to be implemented:
All fire fighting & protection shall be in compliance with the local Fire Police regulations
Firefighting equipment and procedures are subject to audit by local Fire Police
It is the Site Manager's responsibility to ensure that every employee under his supervision is well oriented in fire prevention practice
All employees must know the proper usage of fire extinguishers
Adequate number of fire extinguishers shall be distributed in the general work areas, to be used in case of emergency
Fire extinguishers shall be periodically checked, to ensure their proper functioning
Special attention shall be given in dealing with flammable and combustible materials, as follows:
1) Only the minimum amount of flammable material shall be kept at working places 2) Flammable material shall not be kept or stored in locations where it is difficult to see, or below open staging or floors
3) Flammable materials shall dispose of, immediately after they are no longer equired
