PREAMBLE

1 Rationale of the research topic

Discussion groups as a form of teaching in universities featured many advantages in forming and developing the capacity for learners Through a series of activities to explore, study and debate was held intentionally in group discussions in class, students will have many opportunities to acquire good knowledge, grasp the road to knowledge, training and skills, thinking and attitude, style of scientific work in a positive and effective This means the group discussion method is a tool for truly effective action capacity development for students However, on a practical method of group discussions there is no rightful place and not become a form of teaching independence in the structure of the organizational forms of teaching and university education in Vietnam today
