Lesson 1: 4, 5, 6

I.Objectives: By the end of the lesson, Ss will be able to:

- Identify the vocabularies: classmate, sport centre, wash face, eat food

- Sing the song: This is the way we do things

- Listen to and understand texts about daily routines

- Express their concern about someone’s daily routine by asking question What do you do in the morning/afternoon / evening ? – I

II Teaching aids

Teacher : Projector, speaker, poster , pictures

Students: Textbook

III Procedure:

1 Warm up (5’):

- Show some pictures on the board

- Ask SS to identify always, usually, often, sometimes, rarely, never

**Oral: give comments and praise( pronunciation and spelling)

B New lesson:

Activity 1 Listen and tick

- Discover the picture by ask and answer some questions

** Oral: Q-A to check understanding

- Listen and tick

- Share ideas

Activity 6 Let’s sing:

A PRACTICE ACTIVITY

Warm up: 5’

- Have Ss play the game: Jumbled letters.

+ Show Ss words in which all the letters have got mixed up

+ Have Ss put the letters in the correct order to make a word

+ Call Ss to give the answer

- Have Ss read aloud all words

*** Oral: Praise and Feedback.

Activity 1: Look, listen and repeat 5’

- Have Ss to look at the book at page 14

- Elicit the characters and have Ss guess what they are saying

- Set the scene: “We are going to ask and answer questions about one’s nationality.”

- Have Ss listen to the recording as they read the lines in the speech bubbles

- Play the recording again for Ss to repeat the lines in the speech bubbles two times

- Divide the class into two groups One repeat Mai’s part and the other repeat Nam’ part
