- Sỏch được biờn soạn theo đường hướng giao tiếp, giỳp HS sử dụng ngữ liệu (ngữ

õm, từ vựng, ngữ phỏp) để phỏt triển năng lực giao tiếp bằng tiếng Anh qua 4 kĩ năngNghe- Núi- Đọc- Viết trong đú ưu tiờn kĩ năng nghe và núi

Tiếng Anh 6 gồm 2 tập: tập1 và tập 2 được biờn soạn xoay quanh 4 chủ điểm(Theme) gần gũi với HS: Our Communities và Our Heritage ( Học kỡ 1) Our World

và Visions of the future( Học kỡ 2) Mỗi chủ điểm được chia thành 3 đơn vị bài học(Unit) tương ứng với 3 chủ đề (Topic) của chương trỡnh Sau mỗi chủ điểm là một bài

ụn (Review) tập trung vào kiến thức ngụn ngữ và kĩ năng ngụn ngữ HS đó được học

và rốn luyện

Sỏch bài tập theo bộ sỏch giỏo khoa cũng bao gồm 2 tập: tập 1 và tập 2 Mỗi đơn vịbài tập gồm 5 phần: PHONETICS, VOCABULARY & GRAMMAR, SPEAKING, READING, WRITING Cú 4 bài Test yourelf 1, 2, 3,&4

- Knowledge: understand the dialogue on page six and use some expressions in the

conversation, some school things

+Structures: The present simple and the present continuous tense.

- Skills: + Listening: Listen to the conversation among Phong, Phong’s mum, Vy and

Duy; listen to a poem

+ Reading: Read the conversation and then do true/ false exercise and findthe expressions in the conversation

+ Speaking: work in pairs to create short role- play with the expressions + Writing: Use a model poem to write a poem about their partner
