OVERVIEW OF PROJECT DELIVERY
SYSTEMS
Trang 6WorleyParsons Strategy
WorleyParsons Executive Committee (Exco) has endorsed the rollout of
a consistent set of processes
• WPMP: WorleyParsons Project Management Process – the
WorleyParsons framework for project execution
• EMS: Enterprise Management System – repository of
standard workflows, procedures and templates
Trang 7WorleyParsons Strategy
ExCo has also endorsed the rollout of a consistent suite of
project delivery systems with the following strategy:
Reduce the variety of systems, processes and tools
Provide access to WorleyParsons knowledge
Facilitate multiple office work sharing
Trang 8Overview of Project Delivery Systems
Trang 9Overview of Project Delivery Systems
Factors that determine choice of tools from WorleyParsons’ suite
include:
• type of services
• size of project
• complexity of transactions and data to be managed
Use of standard tool kit will be the most economical and efficient
outcome
Customers may have their preferences but any change to the
standard tool kit to satisfy customer preferences will have cost and schedule penalties
Trang 10Overview of Project Delivery Systems
As a Project Manager you will need to know :
what tools to use for different types of projects
what tools to use to complete different functions
how information flows between the tools so that you can use
them effectively to manage and control each project
how to work with the systems support personnel to set-up and
configure the project delivery tools for each project
