Gold is a precious metal, used more in jewelry and in many other industries. In the market economy and integrating into international economic, gold is special goods; when using it in jewelry purpose, it is normal goods; when the government put it in reserve, it becomes special foreign country.In Vietnam, gold which is put into circulation has many types and designs, however the domestic gold market depends on importable gold not only about mass but also about price. Every year, our country imports over 10tons gold, responds approximately 90% demand inland. Storing gold is Vietnamese’s tradition and this is general rule of the world, not just private in our country, especially in the big cities like Ho Chi Minh City.

The current gold market has many changes and we have much information about it, which makes the people who have demand in buying, selling are disturbed information, they don’t know what news are real and find difficult to count the figures or catch the market’s style

Because of that, I make a plan about “An analysis of gold trading capabilities in Ho Chi Minh city”, the place is in Ho Chi Minh city and the source of secondary data is from

2014 to 2016, to help people have clear view about the gold market, particularly Ho Chi Minh city market and especially serving who want to widen their gold trading activities

or who wish to trade gold or amass gold in Ho Chi Minh city area, thereby they can make decision about their business In addition, basing on analyzing these determinants, the appropriate solutions would be given to help investors reduce the risk and gain

The history of gold can be seen like human history but until today every effort creating gold is not successful So far, almost only gold holds its unique double role so far and durably

In Vietnam, together with economic renewal process, gold’s role is associated with the ups and downs of economic The gold supply and demand is a key factor determining the price of gold In many years, the world gold price has increased or decreased as a result

of changes in supply or demand At present context, when economic is developing stably, the trend of global integration is increasing every day, upcountry gold price varies and firms like international price, it is no exception in Ho Chi Minh city market

In recent years, basing on the large fluctuations in the gold price in the world and Vietnam as well as in the context of the global economy, there have been many articles and research on Vietnam gold market from many different aspects that include “The factors affecting the gold market in Vietnam”, “The price of gold and international liquidity”,… however they happened long time ago so they are not up-to-date with market today, according to some of them only showed data without summing up the situation at that time With this topic, there were many successful people, besides that many people failed, they felt tired of solving this problem

Inheriting available research, I will base on that to grow my project by rejecting inappropriate elements and add new detail and item which fits with conjuncture nowadays

This study will be developed by following 3 research questions match with 3 main objectives:

What factors influence people’s decision? Finding factors influence the decision of

people What enterprises need to do to meet the

need of the people?

METHODOLOGY

4 Write a research report that combines my understanding of the relevant theory and previous research with the results of my empirical research

Primary data: I get it by examining 100 people, I will ask them to complete the table questions about the topic on the internet or in direction, after that I will summarize them With them I have the realest data to understand obviously about the demands of the people

Secondary data: check the websites which have the research about gold market Consider the previous report’s records, magazines or newspaper related, I show their URL in the part References They are wide, multiform and effective, which are very necessary for my analysis
