On successful completion of this unit students will develop knowledge of the organization and operation of securities markets, including the primary market and secondary market and also understand the trading system of stock exchange In detail, the content of the unit will cover the role, structure and operation of stock markets, instruments on stock market; Primary and secondary market; Reading & understand information on stock market
2 Objectives
On successful completion of this unit students should be able to:
• Develop an analytical framework of the operation of stock market, including primary & secondary market
• Understand roles and structure of Stock market
• Read and understand information on stock market
• Evaluate and implement funding decisions in capital markets
• Appreciate the implications of economic policy decisions on financial institutions and stock markets
