II Procedures

*Warm up: Tell pupils to look at picture and ask the following questions in

the pupils’ own language: How old are the children in the picture? (6,4 and 2years old) What’s their relationship? (brother and sister)

A Presentation

1 Teaching vocabulary

Step 1: Teacher teaches vocabulary: Adam, Baz, Jig, Pat, Tess.

Step 2: Write them on the board and read aloud the words.

Step 3: Pupils copy down into their notebooks and repeat after the teacher Step 4: Ask a few pupils to read aloud.

2 Listen and say

Step 1: Tell pupils that they are going to meet the course characters.

Step 2: Play CD Pause after each name so pupils can point to the character

in their books
