Unit 6: Places

I Objectives:

- Talking about the location of different places

- Developing speaking and writing skills

Warm up: Game: Pelmanism -to arouse students’ interest

-to introduce new words

- to lead into the new lesson

Lead in:

Pre:

- students are divided into two groups

- ss have to take turns asking the teacher to turn the numbers over

to identify what are under Then they have to match the same pictures Each correct matching gains 1 mark The winner is the group that gains the highest score

- asks ss:_Where is your house? _ Is it in the city or in the country?

_ What is there near your house?

- ss give their ideas.( in Vietnamese )

- shows a video clip Ss observe

- asks ss: _ What can you see in this film?
