Các em thân mến, phần từ vựng, ngữ pháp thường chiếm đa số các câu trong các đề thi quan trọng Hầu hết, học sinh lại ngại chạm vào những phần này nhất bởi cô nghĩ các em chưa có 1 phương pháp học đúng đắn để tạo động lực cho mình Dưới đây cô sẽ chia sẻ một vài bước đơn giản các em có thể áp dụng để phần từ vựng, ngữ pháp hiệu quả hơn

I) Phương pháp học ngữ pháp

Bước 1: Lên kế hoạch

Có cái nhìn tổng quát về ngữ pháp tiếng Anh (từ sách giáo khoa hoặc trên mạng) Ghi chú những đặc điểm ngữ pháp quan trọng và lên kế hoạch học từng phần trong vài ngày

Bước 2: Nhận dạng những lỗi thường gặp

Thường mọi người sẽ mắc những lỗi giống nhau Hãy tìm ra những phần ngữ pháp mà mọi người thường gặp khó khăn Và chú ý hơn tới những phần ngữ pháp này

Bước 3: Tìm bài tập ngữ pháp

Để học tốt ngữ pháp tiếng Anh, cần luyện tập cho tới khi có thể sử dụng dễ dàng

Bước 4: Chú ý tới ngữ pháp khi đọc tiếng Anh

Sẽ là chưa đủ nếu chỉ hiểu được ý chính về những gì các em đọc được Các em cần phải hiểu chính xác tại sao câu lại được viết như vậy Khi đọc 1 câu văn, hãy tự hỏi liệu các em

có thể viết câu tương tự như vậy không Nếu không thể hoặc không chắc chắn, hãy tìm những cuốn sách về những phần ngữ pháp và luyện tập Luôn học và xem lại các nhóm từ, các cấu trúc câu, không phải một từ riêng biệt

II) Phương pháp học từ vựng

Bước 1: Chọn nhóm

Khi học từ vựng hãy chọn nhóm từ vựng (chủ đề từ vựng) cần học Ví dụ, các em chọn

nhóm từ liên quan đến giáo dục, nhạc, du lịch, công việc, v.v Các em có thể thực hiện bước này với những từ mới các em nhiều lần bắt gặp khi đọc, khi nghe

Bước 2: Hình ảnh, âm thanh

Sử dụng hình ảnh, âm thanh để giúp các em nhớ tốt hơn Đây là một ý tưởng có từ lâu,

nhưng vẫn tỏ ra rất hiệu quả để nhớ từ vựng Ví dụ, các em học từ marvelous (xinh đẹp) thì hãy gắn liền nó với 1 cô ca sĩ đẹp mà các em thích…

Bước 3: Lập sổ từ vựng

Dùng một quyển sổ từ vựng để viết các từ và cụm từ trong tiếng Anh Không chỉ để ghi các

từ vựng thường gặp, các em hãy ghi hết các cụm từ, câu văn để nhớ được rằng từ đó dùng

như thế nào Và nên ghi phiên âm để tránh việc quên cách phát âm nhé

Bước 4: Học theo chủ đề

Khi học 1 từ vựng mới hãy học luôn cả những từ vựng liên quan Ví dụ, nếu các em tìm thấy từ “job”, các em nên nhớ thêm những từ như “teacher”, “dentist” hoặc “doctor”…

Bước 5: Học các từ có cùng gốc

Nên học những từ có cùng từ gốc Tiếng anh thường có các nhóm từ liên quan đến nhau

Ví dụ như từ beautify(động từ) beauty (danh từ) beautiful (tính từ)…

Bước 6: Sử dụng từ mới

Các em không nên ghi các từ, cụm từ mới rồi để nguyên trong sổ mà hãy sử dụng đến

chúng Cách mà nhiều chuyên gia ngôn ngữ khuyên dùng đó là: (1) các em phải nghe phát

âm chuẩn của từ vựng đó; (2) Phát âm lại từ vựng các em đang học một cách rõ ràng, chính xác; (3) Các em nên đặt một câu với từ mới đó rồi đọc câu các em vừa viết lên, và tập cho đến khi các em không còn cần nhìn vào sổ; (4) Cứ thế, hãy làm như vậy với các từ liên quan đến từ mới chính mà các em đang học

Bước 7: Ôn tập

Sau khi học xong hãy ôn lại từ mới các em vừa học một cách thường xuyên Khi các em

đã làm xong những bước trên, nếu các em không ôn lại từ mới các em vừa học, việc học trên sẽ chẳng có ý nghĩa nào cả, các em sẽ quên sạch Ôn lại từ mới vừa học sẽ giúp các em ghi nhớ rất lâu Có nhiều cách để ôn lại như: đọc lại trong sổ đã ghi, áp dụng vào thực tế, và nghe chúng thật nhiều lần
