Jack thought the bones were from a

dinosaur called a duck-billed dinosaur But the

bones were different from other duck-billed

bones Jack knew they had found a new kind

of duck-billed dinosaur He called it Maiasaura

(MY uh SAWR uh).

Jack also found fossils of Maiasaura eggs

at Egg Mountain The eggs were found close together in a rocky nest Jack thinks that the eggs in the nest show that these dinosaurs cared

for their young.
