Vertical Auto-Swing (up and down) automatically moves the
flaps up and down to distribute air across a room When the
air conditioner is turned off, the flaps shut automatically so
that dust can not enter
The louvers cover even a spacious room.
Wide-Angle Louvers provide wide airflow coverage for effective
operation no matter where the indoor unit is placed in a room
The louvers can be adjusted to deliver cool air to the corners of
a room by hand
The angles of the louvers can be adjusted according to where people are in the room
If the indoor unit is not positioned in the centre of the wall, the louvers can also be adjusted to the left or right.
Wide-Angle Louvers
Pressing the Sleep button activates the Sleep Mode This
function prevents excessive cooling for a pleasant sleep
Cooling operation:
1) After 30 minutes, room temperature is raised by 0.5˚C.
2) After 60 minutes, room temperature is raised by 0.5˚C.
3) After 120 minutes, room temperature is raised by 1˚C.

COP of 3 and above
Quiet OperaƟon
The 2.5 to 8.0 kW models provide a high COP of 3 or more An
air conditioner’s COP (Coefficient of Performance) indicates
how efficiently the unit uses energy A higher COP means
greater energy efficiency It also means lower electricity
consumption, so you save money
COP = Capacity (W)
Power consumption (W)
Energy Savings and Quiet OperaƟon
25 dB (A) is so quiet you can even hear whispers
Based on “Examples of Sound Pressure Levels”, Ministry of the Environment, Japan, November 12, 2002
The key benefit of split type air conditioners is their quiet operation This is made possible by the separate indoor and outdoor units The FTN25P offers a low sound pressure level
of 25 dB (A) for indoor unit operation and 46 dB (A)* for outdoor unit operation

In the event of a sudden power failure during operation, unit
restarts automatically in 64 different recovery timing
patterns (within 180 seconds to 244 seconds) and the unit
will operate based on the previous setting (operating mode,
temperature setting and fan speed) This ensures that air
conditioners in the same building resume randomly instead
of all units resuming at the same time, preventing power
surge after a blackout

Worry-Free Design
The FTN80A supports a piping length of up to 45 metres to
give flexibility during unit installation This allows the outdoor
unit to be placed on a balcony or where it can not be seen
Indoor units can also be installed where they do not
compro-mise the decor of a room

Worry Free
The microprocessor automatically controls fan speed to
adjust the room temperature to the set temperature
The microprocessor works to rid the room of humidity while
maintaining the most consistent temperature possible It
automatically controls the temperature and airflow rate
This timer can start or stop the air conditioner within a
24-hour period It can be preset in 30-minute steps by
pressing the On/Off timer button on the wireless remote
controller The On timer and Off timer can be used in
combination
Pressing the Sleep button activates the Sleep Mode

Measurement conditions
1 Cooling capacity is based on: indoor temp 27 CDB, 19 CWB; outdoor temp 35 CDB; piping length 7.5 m.
2 Sound pressure levels are measured in an anechoic chamber based on condition 1 above These values are normally somewhat higher during actual operation as a result of ambient
conditions.
