to 1972 when northern of Vietnam was bombed by the U.S military It is regarded as a crucial historical witness, witness a glorious period of the nation, is an important part of the hotel made up of historical religion, the ancient and unique of Metropole Hanoi

- On 14th Oct,2013, in Hanoi, UNESCO had awarded the Honour of cultural heritage conservation for 2013's bomb shelter Metropole Hanoi hotel
