2 Polyester fiberfill

3 Safety eyes (Ø 6 mm)

4 Crochet hook 3,5 (or in accordance with the yarn you use)

5 Stitch marker

6 Darning and embroidery needles

7 Cotton yarn for the mouth

It would be wise to use a stitch marker and place it in the first stitch of the round to mark the

beginning of it Move the marker up to the first stitch of the next round after finishing the previous

one

If you need to change color, do it always at the end of the previous round Start the last stitch of the

round with the old color Change the color right before you draw through all loops on hook to

complete stitch

You can easily sew the toy together when you leave each piece a long yarn tail

Stitch explanation

Decrease (sc2tog) - Insert hook into st and draw up a loop Insert hook into next st and draw up a loop Yarn over, draw through all 3 loops on hook.

HEAD

Crocheted from top to bottom

1: Color A Magic ring and 6 sc into it.

2: Work 2 sc in each st around = 12

3: (sc in next st, 2 sc in next st) rep 6 times = 18

4: (sc in each of next 2 sts, 2 sc in next st) rep 6 times = 24

9-18: Sc in each st around

Now it is time to fasten safety eyes Find the rows 15 and 16 Insert the first eye between them, then count 5 holes to the left and insert the second eye in the next hole

Fill the head firmly and set aside till you crochet the hat

HAT

Use colors B and C to make the hat Start with color C After two rows change to color B Continue

switching colors every two rows (You will find the precise instructions about how to change color on the first page, section „About the pattern“.)

Leave a long yarn tail (about 80 cm) Fill about a half of the hat and set it into place

Use a long yarn tail to sew the hat onto the head Lead the yarn through the holes in the next-to-last row, skip one st, bring the yarn out through the sts of the last row (see the photo on the left)

With a thinner cotton thread embroider a mouth for the doll

LEGS AND BODY

Making the body starts with crocheting the legs and then joining them, so they smoothly become the body

Leg (make 2)

1: Color A Magic ring and 6 sc into it

7: (Sc2tog) rep 12 times = 12

Fill the tip of the leg firmly

9: 2 sc in each st around = 24

Bind off the first leg Leave a yarn tail about 20 cm long and cut the yarn

Put Leg 1 aside till you prepare Leg 2

NB! Do not cut the yarn after you have finished the second leg, because we will continue connecting the legs right after

15: Join the two legs together Continuing with Leg 2, sc in each of next 27 sts

Stitch the 28th sc into Leg 1, starting with the first st in what would have been the next row

Continue around Leg 1, and sc in each of next 26 sts as well You should now have 54 sc

The last 3 sts from both legs were left out of the work Don`t worry, we will close that hole later on!

16: With the first sc connect back to Leg 2 When you`ve made the first sc, your work should look like this (see the photos below) Sc in each st around

Use darning needle and the yarn tail you left for the first leg to close the hole between the legs

Start filling the body and add stuffing as the work progresses

Stuff not too heavily, so the doll will remain soft enough to cuddle

Find a proper place for the head Use the yarn tail you left for the body to sew the head and body

together

ARM (make 2)

1: Color A Magic ring and 6 sc into it

6: (Sc2tog) rep 9 times = 9

Fill the tip of the arm quite heavily with fiberfill You may want to use the scissors or crochethook to

do that

Hereafter change colors B and C after every two rows Start with Color C

8: 2 sc in each st around = 18

Stuff the sleeve part lightly with fiberfill Do not add any stuffing hereafter

Attach the arms between the body and the head using the stitches of the seam

COLLAR

Color D Ch 26

1 sc in the second st from hook

Make 3 dc in each st till the last one 1 sc in the last st

Using the darning needle bring the yarn out through the st you made the last sc into

Place the collar around the neck, leave the open part on the back

Find the first sc on the other side of the collar and bring the yarn through Pull the sides together

Secure the collar with several stitches

And your sweet Cuddly-baby is ready!
