I AMIS AND OBJECTIVES :

Language content:

- Vocabulary: Review the previous knowledge

- To help the students to distinguish between the full form and contracted form of

auxilitaries

- use the preposition and articles

- Language function:

- - General knowledge: Students learn some information to complete the sentences

Educational aim :

- To help Ss to know how to sudy the lesson systematically

- Skill : Integrated skills : listening- speaking-reading-writing

II TEACHER AND STUDENTS’ PREPARATION:

1 Method : Communicative Approach.

2 Techniques: Repetition, explanation, group work, asking – answering.

3 Materials needed : Textbook, pictures, real thing.

4 Students’ preparation : Review the points of grammar

5 Previous exercises:

1 Warm up:

- Introduce the lesson to the students

2 Pronunciation:

- play the tape and asks students to listen to the

sounds listed in their books

- asks students to listen to the tape then repeat the

words in chorus

- asks students to repeat the words individually

- correct their pronunciation if necessary

- asks students to read the sentences suggested

individually

- can read the sentences first and notice the sounds

in words

- asks some students to read the sentences aloud

- asks others to give comments then correct their

pronunciation if necessary

3 Grammar:

- explains how to do this exercise then give some

examples to illustrate and asks students to work in

pairs to do the exercise suggested

- asks students to discuss the answers with their
