If one chooses to take a tour where there will be a group of tourists and a guide, there are some advantages and disadvantages to take into consideration As advantages, we could mention that there
would be an expert in charge of the group, so it would be safer for everybody, since it is less likely that one can get lost, and in case of
an emergency there is someone reliable to count on The places to visit would be already planned, so one as a tourist would not have to
do research on what places are better to eat, or what places or shows are not be missed The plans and schedules are designed by
somebody who knows the place well, and they`re done to fulfill the expectations and needs of new tourists On the other hand, traveling with a group can bring some trouble One has to wait for all the
group to be ready and complete, or maybe there would some tourists who can have annoying habits that might spoil the trip The
schedule may shorten the time we wish to spend in certain place, and limit our freedom to decide where to go Sometimes we can disagree with the tour guide`s opinion or taste, and find less
interesting the places we are taken to
In my opinion, I think that being part of a tour led by a guide can be a good choice if the destination is unknown and the languages and
costumes are difficult to learn It is safer to make a trip in a group, and
if one chooses the tour carefully, by asking for references and
analyzing the schedules carefully, the trip is more likely to satisfy us
We should do a little research on the tour we`re about to take, and that way, disappointments and trouble can be prevented
