My name is Douglas Torton, I’m seventeen years old and I’m a soccer player

I don’t live with my parents because they are in London while I

am living in Italy

I live in Florence, Tuscany, with another two boys, Xavier is from Spain and Sasha is from Germany They are students at the College

My daily routine is different from other boys or from my friends I train many hours a day I usually get up at five o’clock in the morning and I have a big breakfast: every morning I have a cup of chocolate milk, bread with jam and a banana Then I have a shower, I brush my teeth, I put on my track suit and my training shoes and I’m ready to go to the stadium and practice soccer for two hours, from six to eight o’clock

I have another shower in our changing room and then I go to school I attend the Alighieri High School, and I’m a good student I must be a good student because last year I did a deal with my parents: as long as I am a good student, I’ll play soccer I have Math, Science, History, Geography, Italian language and English lessons My favourite subjects are Math and English

(because it’s my mother tongue), I have some difficulties in the Italian language but I have some fellows that can help me

My lessons finish at one o’clock p.m then I go home to have

my lunch I usually eat pasta and some vegetables I do my homework and at half past four I go back to the stadium to train again.I finish at eight o’clock p.m I have a shower and I

go home

I have my dinner at half past eight or nine o’clock p.m I always eat some meat or fish with green salad, a slice of cake

or an ice-cream and finally I go to sleep!

I have no time to watch TV or play computer games because

as I have just told you, I get up very early!
