T hangs the pictures on the board and asks ss to observe and write the names of

the things that do not belong to the past (100 years ago)

-Ss work in pairs then compare with other pairs

-Answer key: The T.V, the mobile phone, modern clothing, the radio, the lighting fixture, school uniform

2 Listen and read:

a New words:

+ used to : đã từng (explanation)

+ great-grandma(n): bà (explanation)

B Objective: By the end of the lesson , ss will be able to talk about the differences between the life in present and the life in the past and ss will be able

understand the story and have a moral lesson through listening skill

C Preparation: Pictures, poster, stereo and tape.

D Procedure :

+ Talk about the life in the past and the present

+ Talk about the things you used to do in the past

II Warm up:

Play a game "Happy Memories"
