- After the lesson students will be able to understand the text by practicing " Wh- question" in the past simple tense and practice writing to use the correct past simple verb form

II- Preparations:

Materials: Textbook, workbook, teacher's notes

Equipment: Tape English 7, stereo

III- Teaching process:

S3 read dialogue B1 and answer some questions

3- New lesson:

A- Warm up: Sing a song.

B- Presentation:

* Pre:

+ Teaching new words (Techniques: translation, pictures, realia)

Ss work in pairs one asks, one answers

a Work with a partner Read the dialogue

- Ss work in pairs, reading the dialogue

T explains the sentences '' What about the violet dress?"

- Some pairs perform before the class

b Make similar dialogue

T uses the extra board to introduce by using substitute words

- Ss work in pairs, making the similar dialogue

Example dialogue

Mai: How much is the blue hat?

Assistant: It's 15000 dong

Mai: What about the yellow one?

Assistant: It's 12000 dong

a Write the past form of the verbs in the table

Nga: I cleaned my room helped my Mom, studied English, watched TV, play

volleyball, and stayed at Hoa's house.

Minh: How about tomorrow?

Nga: I will study English, clean my room, help my Mom, see a movie, visit my

grandmother and buy new shoes.

5, More, less, and few

Before, there were 2 eggs Now, there are more eggs

Before, there was one litter of milk Now, there is less milk

Ss write individually

Before there were 4 bananas Now, there are fewer bananas.

Before there were 500 ml orange juice Now, there is more orange juice.

Before there were 200 grams of butter Now, there is more butter.

Before there were no cabbages Now, there is one cabbage

Before there were 2 tomatoes Now, there are more tomatoes.

Before there were 2 onions Now, there are not any onions

Before there were no chikens Now,there is one chicken

4- Consolidation:

T reminds Ss of past form of the verbs
