Lesson 1 : A 1 – A 2

I.Objectives:

-At the end of the lesson Ss will be able to ask and answer about one's feel and one's need

II.Preparation

-Pictures and flash-cards

III Procedure:

1 Warm up:

a) Check the old lesson:

- Get one student to go the board to read

and translate part B4 - Unit 9

b) Warmer:

- Give a picture of a person who is eating

something and ask Ss some questions

(Maybe in Vietnamese)

- Then teacher says: We'll start new lesson

to learn about people's feeling.

2.Presentation

*Act 1:Present vocabularies.

-T introduces new words by using the

pictures or real action

-Guides Ss to read new words

-Checking vocab: Ask Ss to do matching

*Act 2: Present grammar structure to ask

and answer about one’s feel.

-T points the pictures then ask and answer

-Ss listen and guess

- Explain and give model structures

- Give a picture of some kinds of food

and drink and ask Ss to name them

-Teacher writes new words on the board

(using pictures or real objects)

- Teacher reads new words once

- Guide Ss to read new words twice

- Let Ss read new words in silence

- Call some to read (one by one - in

turn)

exercise 2 on page 89 in workbook

- Teacher corrects and gives marks

b) Warmer:

- Then teacher leads in to new lesson

- Get Ss to give the names of food and

drink (Ss can speak in Vietnamese)

- Then teacher says: in our to day lesson

we'll learn about some kinds of food and

drink.

2 Presentation:

*Act 1: Present some food and drink:

- Teacher hangs picture of part B4 and

reads those words and get Ss to guess

meaning for them

- Teacher writes new words on the

board

- Guide Ss to get meaning of new words.

*Act 2: Revision the structure to ask

and answer about one’s feel:
