Trang 5Teacher’s directions:
1) Print the four pages with the questions.
2) Take a set of cards to the class.
3) Divide the class into 4 to 6 groups.
4) Shuffle the cards and put them in the center of a table in a way the students will only see their back.
5) Put the 4 pages on the table, so the students will be able to read the questions.
6) Each group decides its members order to play.
7) The first student of each group sits at the table.
8) They decide the order they’ll play the first round.
9) The first student takes a card, reads the corresponding question in the worksheet and answers it.
10) If he answers correctly and supports his answer in a logical way, he keeps the card, but if a student disagrees and supports his disagreement, the teacher decides who keeps the card (the best answer gets the card and the points).
11) If he answers it wrongly or doesn’t support his answer in a logical and acceptable way, he puts the card back.
12) The next student does the same, until all of them have played 3 or 5 times (depending on how many members each group has).
13) Start a new round with the second student of each group.
14) When all the students have played, they count their cards.
16) The group with more points is the winner.
