Abstract Thông qua việc nghiên cứu hoạt động của nguồn bạc Tân Thế giới đi qua

Manila vào Trung Quốc từ năm 1571 đến năm 1700, luận văn phân tích và chỉ rõ mối liên hệ trao đổi kim loại bạc Tân Thế giới và những tác động lên nền kinh tế - xã hội Trung Quốc Những tác động này được thể hiện thông qua các yếu tố kinh tế (giá cả, tỉ giá đồng tiền, cơ cấu ngành nghề…), xã hội (dân số, lao động …) cùng những chuyển biến nổi bật khác Bên cạnh đó, luận văn đã sử dụng các quan điểm mới để giải thích xu hướng liên kết thương mại toàn cầu giai đoạn cận đại sơ kỳ thông qua hoạt động thương mại bạc trực tiếp giữa Manila (Philippines) và Trung Quốc
