Remove the wiper arm

Place two suction cups on the window glass surface and suspend it with a crane or a chain block

Remove the weather strip key from the weather strip

1 Insert the lower weather strip to the body flange

(Top and bottom of the glass end should be same both right and left)

2 Apply the special adhesive to the whole ending part of the lower weather strip

3 Insert the upper weather strip to the body flange

4 When leaking the water because of gap of the upper and lower weather strip conjunction, in order to avoid the leakage again, do the later procedure

5 When inserting the upper weather strip to the body flange, insert by overlapping with the lower weather strip about 7mm Insert the ending in order not to make the gap with the lower weather strip

6 When inserting the sealant, caution in order not to be cut the bead

(If fore condition is not performed, if may cause the leak water)

7 Insert the sealant sufficiently and wipe the remains cleanly

Cut the sealant of the weather strip and window panel of body part using the special tool

5 For re-using the glass again, make the alignment marks at the glass and the body

After raising the sides part of the weather srtip with the driver and remove the edge of the weather strip from the body flange by pushing the front window glass from inside

of the vehicle

Installation

Remove remaining sealant and adhesive materials with a knife from the body side window panel,the surface and windshield stiffener, and the flange surface

2 Cleanse the window panel and flange part with unleaded gasoline, and perform

touch- up maintenance on stripped surface for anticorrosiontouch-.

For re-using removed glass and weather strip, remove the sealant and cleanse with unleaded gasoline

Replace the weather strip if it is damaged

Install the weather strip on the body flange

Put the glass on the weather strip and press the glass using the scoop or tap the glass lightly with the rubber hammer and fix the glass firmly

When installing the glass, apply a proper quantity of the soap suds in order to make the securely fitted

Fill up the sealant sufficiently between the weather strip and the body flange

When filling up the sealant, caution not to be cut it

(If fore condition is not performed, it may cause the leak water)

Clean the remaining sealing material and dirt around the glass and the weather strip with the gasoline

Leave the glass until the sealant hardens

Insert the sealant after removing the right hand and left hand rubber from the window glass

1 When applying the primer in the ending line of the center part of the grease, attach the masking tape ending firmly to the grease in order not to be soaked into the attaching part by the primer liquid

2 Remove the masking tape after the grease primer dries

3 When cleaning the remaining sealant, caution in order not be made the sealant layer

Insert the weather strip key into the weather strip.
