1 Tên hồ sơ dạy học: Celebrations and their effects (English 11, 90 phút)
2 Mục tiêu dạy học:
- Học sinh cần có năng lực vận dụng kiến thức liên môn Ngữ văn, Sinh học, GDCD để giải quyết các vấn đề bài học đặt ra
- Học sinh sử dụng kiến thức văn hóa để thuyết trình về các lễ hội phổ biến ở Việt Nam và trên thế giới ( Tết, Lễ Giáng Sinh, Tết trung thu và Valentine’s Day)
- Học sinh rèn luyện được kĩ năng thuyết trình, kĩ năng tương tác hoạt động nhóm, chia sẻ và so sánh thông tin, liên hệ thực tiễn với cuộc sống của các em cũng như phát triển năng lực giao tiếp bằng tiếng Anh của các em
- Học sinh thảo luận về tác động tích cực của lễ hội (tăng hiểu biết về văn hóa của các đất nước trên thế giới, nghỉ ngơi thư giãn…) và tác động tiêu cực của
lễ hội đối với môi trường Từ đó bày tỏ thái độ, trách nhiệm của học sinh trong việc góp phần giữ vững giá trị văn hóa của lễ hội cũng như bảo vệ môi trường
3 Đối tượng dạy học của bài học
- Học sinh khối 11, trình độ khá trở lên
- Lớp 11D1, 39 học sinh
- Chia học sinh thành 3 nhóm: The Sun, The Moon, The Earth
- Yêu cầu học sinh chuẩn bị bài thuyết trình về các lễ hội học sinh yêu thích nhất, tác động tích cực và tiêu cực, giải pháp phù hợp với thực tiễn (sưu tầm tranh ảnh, bài hát, ô chữ, phần mềm trình chiếu powerpoint…)
4 Ý nghĩa của bài học
- Bài học có ý nghĩa tích cực đối với thực tiễn dạy học vì bài học áp dụng phương pháp dạy học tích cực, phát huy khả năng làm việc nhóm, làm cho học sinh hứng thú, chủ động, tích cực tham gia các hoạt động của bài học
- Đối với mục tiêu dạy và học ngoại ngữ trong giai đoạn 2010-2020 thì bài học
có tác dụng góp phần phát triển năng lực giao tiếp của học sinh, các em sử
Trang 4dụng tiếng Anh một cách tự nhiên, chủ động qua thuyết trình, các bài hát, vở kịch ngắn, đóng vai….để giới thiệu về các lễ hội các em yêu thích Ngoài ra, các em sẽ liên hệ với thực tiễn, đưa ra một số giải pháp thực tế để bảo vệ môi trường, giữ vững và phát triển giá trị văn hóa của các lễ hội

- Các thiết bị, đồ dùng dạy học, học liệu sử dụng trong dạy học: video clip, projector, computer, handouts, pictures, realia, board, chalk…

CELEBRATIONS AND THEIR EFFECTS
( Period 45, 46)
Aim: Increase students’ speaking skill through such activities as: asking and
answering, presentation
Objectives: By the end of the lesson Ss will be able to:
- Remember some words related to some celebrations
- Ask and answer questions about a festival/ celebration
- To talk about the favourite celebration
- Discuss positive and negative effects of celebrations and come up with some possible solutions
Methods: Communicative approach and Intel teaching method.
Teaching aids: Projector, computer, handouts, pictures, realia, board, chalk.
Anticipated problems:
Students may have some grammar and pronunciation mistakes Teacher finds out and corrects them

- Kiểm tra thực hành: giáo viên giao cho học sinh vận dụng kiến thức trong chương trình học để phát hiện vấn đề và đưa ra giải pháp để giải quyết vấn đề và đưa
