Ask Ss to do the exercise in the work book

A Warm up

-Ask ss to retell the passive voice by giving the form and make examples with the passive form

-Write the form on the BB

-Make examples and write on the BB

+ The form:

* The present tense:

S + be + PP + by O

Ex: The letter is written by him

* The past tense

S + be + PP + by O

Ex: The letter was written by him

* The present perfect tense:

S + has / have + been + PP + by O

Ex: The letter has been written by him

B Presentation

-Ask ss to look at the exercises in the text book and then give the form that are used in the exercise

- Passive voice:

- Sequence markers

-Ask Ss to retell the form and list the sequence markers

First, then, after that Next, finally

C Practice

-Ask ss to do the exercises in the text book

-Work in pairs to discus and then write on the BB

-Share the answers to the partners

-Ask Ss to write on the BB

+ Change the sentences into passive voice

+ Active or passive:

-Ask ss work in pairs and do the exercise

+ Make questions:

-Work in pairs to write the questions and write them on the BB

c) Next , the rice grains was husked by the mill to produce brown rice

d) Finally, the brain was removed by the mortar and it was winnowed

to make white rice

D Production

-Ask ss to retell the way to make the white rice in traditional way
