3 New lesson:

A Warm up

Ask Ss to give the way to ask for the directions and the way to reply them

- Ask Ss to write on the BB

- Turn left, turn right Go ahead

- Go straight a head Take the first street on the left/ right

B Pre- listening

- Ask Ss to answer the questions

How many roads/ streets/ offices are there?

- Introduce the new words :( base on the picture in the text book)

Highway: đường cao tốc Tourist information center: tung tâm thông tin

du lịch

Bus station: trạm xe buýt Hotel: khách sạn Pagoda; chùa

Temple: đền Restaurant: nhà hàng

Ask Ss to read the new words aloud

B While –listening

Introduce the listening and ask Ss to listen to the tape about the places mentioned above on the map

Play the tape and ask Ss to match the places to their correct position

Ask Ss to write the answer on the BB and read the answers aloud then check

a) restaurant

b) Hotel

c) Bus station

d) Pagoda

e) Temple

- Play the tape again to let Ss check their answers

D Post- listening

- Ask Ss to give the direction of some places in Ha hoa town

-Work in pairs to practice

-Call some pairs to practice aloud in front of the rest Others listen to them
