• BN đã bắt điều trị Levofloxacin 500

mg/ngày.

AK1 Are these doses accurate? I don't find any weight based dosing when I look up these doses in US text books Also, can we be more

specific about the dosing?

In the guidelines it says: PCN G 400,000 IU/kg IV q 6 hours for 7 - 10 days

(In the US PCN G is always given q 4 hours at 1 million IU q 4 hr IV if the blood cultures are negative, 2 million IU q 4 hr IV if the blood cultures are positive and no meningitis )

Ampicillin 200 - 300 mg/kg/day

(In US Ampicillin always 2 gm q 6 hours

Cefotaxime is written as 200 - 300 mg/kg q 8 hours IV (in US we always give between 1 -2 gms q 8 hrs)

Ceftriaxone 50-80 mg/kg/day IV in 2 divided doses (in US we always give 1 gm q 12 hrs pour pneumonia)
