Reyarding Huynh Ngoc Vinh

Vinh has been a student in my lab for 1 semester During that periad he followed an

advanced course in 2D NMR which he passed very well and he did laboratory work

Based on that he wrote a report: “Chemical Constituents of Tithonia Tagetiflora in

Victnam” with a good overview of what was already known The report is short

partly because Vinhs English was not perfect and partly because some of the results

very obtained in the very last part of the stay However, it contains material worth

publishing in an international journal Based on the report he passed two exami at the

end of his stay

Vinh worked well in the laboratory and very hard and proved to be able tu work

independently and he managed to isolate a couple of new and interesting compounds

Vinh has demonstrated an excellent skill in assigning complicated spectra of large

natural products

Vinh showed much progress during his stay in Denmark and he proved to be able to

do good scicnce
