Lesson Plan 26(grade 11 – advanced)

Period : 26 Preparation date : 17/10/2007 Unit : 4 Lesson : Volunteer work and literacy programs (

comprehension)

I Aims :

- By the end of the lesson, the students are able to scan reading for specific information

- By the end of the lesson, the students are able to skim reading for general ideas

II Lexical items :

- volunteer - first – hand - remedial - conduct

- literacy - benefit - hardship - interpersonal

III Structures :

- Our main task was to teach beginners how to read and write

- Every morning we conducted remedial courses for weak schoolboys

- Helping the community enables us to develop our interpersonal skills…
