What activities would you have during the visit ? II/ Pre reading

*Set the sence : Today we will learn the lesson 1, a foreign pen pal,Maryam is coming to stay with Lan for a week, and what activities they would do during the visit

* Pre teach – vocabulary :

To correspond : trao đổi thư từ (explain )

To be impressed by : gây ấn tượng (explain )

To pray : cầu nguyện , cầu khấn (mine )

A mosque : nhà thờ Hồi giáo (picture)

To keep in touch : giữ liên lạc

III/ While reading :

Open prediction : Ask Ss to guess where Maryam went and what she did during the visit

Ask Ss to lislen to the tape and read folow , then check check their prediction and add some more information

Ask Ss to read the text again (silent) to choose the correct option to complete the sentences on page 7
