I Objectives: By the end of the lesson, the Ss will be able to read a text about

where Thuy lives to understand the details and practice country vocabulary

II Language contents:

- Grammar: Simple present tense :

- Vocabulary: tree, lake, river, park, flower, rice paddy

III Techniques: what and where, open-prediction, group works, pair works, ask

and answer

IV Teaching aids: lesson plan, textbook, pictures page 62, 63 and cassette

V Time: Allotted 45 minutes

VI Procedures:

1 Warm up(5’)

- Greeting

- Game: Hang man HOUSE

Have the Ss to find the word

- It has 5 letters

- Where you and your family live

2 Check up(3’)

3 New lesson (37’)
