The effects of unemployment in society
Unemployment is a big issue in our society at the time being It has many effects in the whole economy, not just in those who are unfortunate to be jobless Moreover, unemployment affects many other fields in the society To be clearer, some major effects will be analyzed in details
First and foremost, unemployment makes the society unbalanced Many people who are out of work must experience a hard life which is in contrast with people whose job is stable and get high income This creates a big gap between the life standard of the poor and the rich There exist many problems in the way of developing economy equally because the society can not make an advantage of labor force to produce goods for human beings’ life
Additionally, unemployment might increase the rate of social evils Many people can not satisfy with their low-standard material life However, they can not apply any job to have more extra income Consequently, some will think of negative activities such as stealing or robbing others’ property Moreover, some people find the life so negative and they will destroy their life with opium or even do some bad careers to last their life as long as possible such as serving people’s need of sexual demand As it is just analyzed, the society has to put up with lots of bad impacts
Apart from those, unemployment also has bad influences on educational system As it
is known that education is always the leading policy of each country However, when the volume of jobless people in society is so big that they are unable to provide their children with tuition to go to school, the civilization of human beings will be in slow development Those who have no condition for their study can not have a good job or they will encounter difficulties in their work Thus, the effectiveness of production will
be decreased This leads to the society’s disorders about the distribution of labor force
Last but not least, if the number of jobless people is too numerous, the quality of health care will be extremely affected People who have no ability to put them in a good condition of health care will have to suffer many dangerous and fatal diseases Especially, people get infectious diseases if having no financial condition to have a treatment, the disease will be expanded around the country and even all over the world Therefore, man will have to face up with many dangers in their life
All things considered, unemployment in our society has many effects in every field of the life It is caused by many factors in economic system In general, all effects are bad aftermath, thus, the government needs to have suitable policy and managements for the social development Our society will be in prosperous and durable development if the economy is stable and the unemployment is limited in maximum
