Teachers can evaluate student performance on AI-generated worksheets by comparing results to earlier materials, allowing them to assess content effectiveness Often, improvements in scores are attributed to enhanced task clarity, relevance, and student engagement.

3.2 Teacher survey: Practical evidence for the need of innovation

In March 2025, a small-scale survey was conducted to identify the practical challenges high school English teachers encounter when compiling review questions that align with the 2025 National High School Graduation Exam format The survey involved 25 English teachers from public high schools in Nghe An province, representing a mix of urban and rural areas.

The survey sought to gather insights on teachers' current practices, including the time dedicated to material design, the diversity of their review tasks, and their interest in utilizing AI tools like ChatGPT to enhance their work.

The results of the survey revealed the following key findings:

- 80% of teachers reported spending more than 3 hours designing a 45- minute review test

- 88% admitted that their current materials do not fully reflect the 2025 exam format

- 76% said they rarely or never include newer task types like sentence reordering or insertion

- 84% stated that they rarely personalize review content according to students’ proficiency levels

- Encouragingly, 92% of participants expressed willingness to use AI tools such as ChatGPT if trained or guided properly

The results emphasize the necessity for contemporary, efficient, and flexible solutions in designing review questions Additionally, they reveal that educators are receptive to innovative approaches, as long as the tools are user-friendly and relevant to their teaching environments.

3.3.1 Applying ChatGPT experimentally in compiling review questions for 12th-grade students

In an eight-week pilot program conducted from January to March 2025, ChatGPT was utilized by a teacher to create weekly review exercises tailored to the curriculum for two 12th-grade classes, comprising 75 students, at a public high school in Nghe An province These exercises were designed to align with the format of the 2025 National High School Graduation Exam.

Each review task utilized structured prompts in ChatGPT, encompassing various exercise types like sentence reordering, insertion, cloze tests, matching, and short reading comprehension with multiple-choice questions These exercises were compiled into worksheets or Google Forms and incorporated into weekly practice sessions.

During each review session, students engaged with exercises created by ChatGPT, accompanied by brief explanations of their objectives and strategies They were encouraged to prioritize not just the accuracy of their answers, but also the logical connections and textual cohesion necessary for addressing new-format exam questions.

3.3.2 Collecting feedback from students and teachers

After eight weeks of implementing the new materials, feedback was collected to assess user satisfaction and perceived effectiveness Students provided their insights through an anonymous Google Form, while teachers contributed feedback via observation notes and professional discussions.

- 95% of students agreed that the materials created by ChatGPT were more interesting and practical compared to traditional review handouts

- 88% reported improved understanding of logical flow and text coherence after practicing with sentence reordering and insertion tasks

- 82% stated they felt more confident in approaching reading comprehension questions in mock exams

- Preparation time for review lessons was significantly reduced estimated at 60% shorter than before

- Teachers found it easier to adapt the same core material to different levels by prompting ChatGPT to adjust the complexity

- The new materials stimulated critical thinking, as students engaged in discussions about why certain sentence orders or insertions were correct

- This feedback confirmed the usefulness of ChatGPT not only in terms of saving time and diversifying task types, but also in enhancing student motivation and classroom interaction

3.4 Comparing effectiveness before and after applying ChatGPT and Diffit AI

To determine the learning impact, students’ performance was measured and compared across two stages: before and after the implementation of ChatGPT- generated materials

- Pre-intervention assessment (December 2024): average score = 6.3/10

- Post-intervention assessment (March 2025): average score = 7.5/10

Additionally, the proportion of students scoring above 8.0 rose from 18% to

42%, while the number of students scoring below 5.0 dropped significantly More importantly, students demonstrated improved logical reasoning, contextual awareness, and time management during practice tests

The integration of ChatGPT in designing review tasks enhances teacher efficiency while significantly improving students' exam preparedness, particularly for tasks that demand higher-order thinking and a deep understanding of discourse.

CONCLUSION

My research titled “Applying ChatGPT and Diffit AI to Compile Review Questions for English Based on the 2025 National High School Graduation Exam Sample Format” was carried out at Quy Hop High School during the 2024-2025 academic year.

The integration of ChatGPT and Diffit AI for creating customized review questions has significantly enhanced the educational landscape for English language preparation for the 2025 National high school graduation exam This initiative effectively tackled key challenges that previously affected student performance and engagement Additionally, the research has led to improved student outcomes, increased motivation, and a personalized learning experience It has also enhanced teacher efficiency and facilitated the sharing of best practices, allowing educators to focus more on instructional strategies and individualized support, ultimately fostering a more effective learning environment.

This initiative has revolutionized exam preparation for English language learners by addressing challenges such as static resources and lack of engagement The implementation of AI tools has effectively tackled specific issues faced by students and teachers, while also promoting a culture of innovation within education Consequently, it has established a foundation for ongoing improvements in teaching practices and technology integration, paving the way for future successes in equipping students for their academic and professional paths.

To enhance educational experiences, schools must provide sufficient technological resources, including computers, tablets, and mobile devices, for both teachers and students Ensuring a reliable internet connection is crucial for seamless access to applications, allowing students to utilize these tools effectively.

To improve assessment and feedback processes, it is essential to implement a system for gathering input from both students and teachers at the conclusion of each academic term This will help evaluate the application's effectiveness and facilitate timely adjustments based on the collected feedback.

To enhance education quality and establish a nationwide advanced learning network, successful initiatives in select schools should be expanded to additional subjects and implemented in more educational institutions.

The survey results indicate an average score of 3.97 for teachers and 3.96 for students, highlighting the urgent need for a proposed solution to address the current challenges in compiling review questions for the National High School Graduation Exam.
