PART I: INTRODUCTION

1 Reasons for choosing the topic

Firstly, In the current technology era, the application of software in English

teaching has become popular and provides many benefits The use of software tools in the classroom can encourage collaborative learning, which is a creative way to promote teamwork and develop social skills among students By creating activities that require students to work together, the study promotes an invironment

of creativity and exploration

It also helps teachers diversify teaching activities so that the teaching process

becomes more attractive and achieves higher results Software is a great tool for teacher to interact with students, supplement the database and collect huge

information about questions and problems that teacher wants to teach in the lesson Secondly, The demand for innovation in English teaching and learning require teacher to change their old method, making students' learning more active,

attractive and exciting.The use of these software also makes it easy for teachers to create questions, games, tests based on the content of the lesson At the same time, teachers can also monitor students' learning progress and evaluate the

effectiveness of learning activities

In short, the adaption of software such as Quizziz, Bamboozle… is an effective way

to help students increase their interaction with the language and become more passionate about learning English

From my teaching experience as well as the sharing from my colleagues I realize that the lack of interaction and attractiveness in the learning process can make students discouraged and reluctant to learn English

Therefore I choose “Applying some software such as Quizizz, Bamboozle to

create activities that promote interest for the 10grade students in learning

English ” as my measure to help me meet the demands of new general educational

program

In short, the adoption of software such as Quizziz, Bamboozle, to create activities

in Grade 10 Global Success is an effective way to help students increase their interaction with the language and become more passionate about learning English

2 Aims and significance of the study

The aim of this study is to explore the use of software tools such as Quizziz and Bamboozle to create some activities for Grade 10 Global Success class These software tools can be used to create engaging and interactive activities that will help students to review and reinforce their knowledge of the subject matter before starting their class

The significance of this study lies in the potential benefits of using these software tools to enhance the learning experience of students By providing a fun and

interactive way to review and reinforce their understanding of the subject matter, students are more likely to be engaged and motivated in their learning This, in turn, can lead to improved academic performance and a more positive attitude towards learning This study also promotes students' interest and self-learning ability There is a fact that most of SS are not fond of learning E, they just study for exam…for some other reasons They don’t study for interest They always feel

learning E is difficult So I apply this measure as an easier and more interesting way to learn English When they feel it is attractive they will be active in learning

It also help students to review and reinforce their knowledge of the subject matter before or after their lesson.This, in turn, can lead to improved academic performance and a more positive attitude towards learning

Another aim of this method is to find out some adapted activities to encourage collaborative learning among students When SS take part in the game, they are required to work in pair , in group, they have to exchange information to each other It means they communicate more This can lead to increased student participation, collaboration, and critical thinking skills, which are all essential for

success in the 21st-century workforce

3 Methods of the study

The research methodology for this study would involve a mixed-methods approach, combining both quantitative and qualitative data collection and analysis methods First, a survey would be conducted among Grade 10 Global Success students to gather their feedback on their current learning experience and their preferences for using software tools in the classroom The survey would also assess their comfort level with technology and their attitudes towards learning

Next, I would create a series of some activities using Quizziz and Bamboozle software tools, based on the topics covered in the Grade 10 Global Success curriculum The activities would be designed to be engaging, interactive, and aligned with the learning objectives of the course

I would then observe the students during the some activities to gather qualitative data on their engagement levels, participation, and feedback This would be done through classroom observations and student interviews

Finally, I would collect quantitative data on the effectiveness of the some activities

in improving student learning outcomes This would be done through pre- and assessments of student knowledge and performance, as well as analysis of student grades and participation levels

4 Scope of the study

Research scope of the topic “Applying some software such as quizziz,

baamboozle to create activities that promote interest for 10th grade students in learning English ” will focus on creating activities in English using Quizziz and Bamboozle software The study will focus on 10th graders in Nguyen Duy Trinh High school and English teachers at the school The evaluation of the

effectiveness of activities will be based on feedback from teachers and students at

the school

The creative features of the study could include:

1 Theoretical background

By applying educational software such as Quizziz and Bamboozle… to create activities in Year 10 English, Global Success is an innovative and effective approach

to English language teaching In order to ensure the reasonableness and effectiveness

of the topic, it is necessary to provide a number of theoretical bases to support the research methodology

First, the use of activities is essential in English language teaching These activities help students focus, get ready for learning and help teachers create a positive learning environment This is important to motivate students and help them learn more effectively

2 Practical background

2.1 Advantages - disadvantages:

Nguyen Duy Trinh High School has many advantages in teaching English such as having a team of enthusiastic and highly qualified teachers In addition, the school has also invested in teaching facilities such as projectors, interactive boards, and has spacious and comfortable classrooms, making it easy for teachers to carry out a variety of learning activities

However, teaching English at Nguyen Duy Trinh High School also faces a lot of difficulties Most students feel bored with simple tasks and exercise in Text book, they aren’t fond of doing homework In addition, some students who have weak English skills, need special support and encouragement to study more Which makes

it difficult for teachers to carry out teaching activities

With the development of the digital era, new age students are very sensitive to accessing modern software I want to effectively exploit the benefits that these modern software bring to teaching and learning English Students not only use smartphones for their entertainment but also use it as an effective English learning tool Moreover school has classrooms fully equipped with teaching equipment, including projecter, TV so that teacher can implement activities with morden applications such as Quizziz and Baamboozle easily

Teaching English at Nguyen Duy Trinh High School has achieved certain successes such as students have relatively good English listening, speaking, reading and writing skills, especially in listening and speaking skills In addition, the school has applied modern teaching methods, using educational technologies to enhance creativity and effectiveness in teaching

However, the teaching of English at the school still has some limitations Some students still have difficulty in reading and writing English, especially in writing and pronunciation skills In addition, the assessment of student learning outcomes has not been assessed fairly and accurately There is a need for improvement and improvement in the quality of assessment so that teachers can accurately assess student performance

2.3 Strong and weak sides

Strong sides:

• English teachers have good qualifications, most of them graduated from university majoring in English or have equivalent foreign language certificates

• The school has classrooms fully equipped with teaching equipment, including projectors, speakers, interactive boards, diverse teaching materials

• English teachers are conscious of improving the quality of teaching, regularly searching for new materials, applying modern teaching methods and suitable for students

Weak sides:

• The number of English teachers is not enough to ensure teaching at the school Some classes must be divided into 2 groups and taught by 2 different teachers

• Students do not have the habit of learning English and are not capable enough

to communicate and understand basic English vocabulary and grammar

Strengths: Nguyen Duy Trinh High School has made many efforts in improving the quality of English teaching and learning, especially in grade 10 Many teachers have participated in training courses and seminars to improve their knowledge and teaching skills In addition, the school has also used many quality textbooks and exercises to help students learn more effectively

Weaknesses: However, there are still many difficulties and limitations in teaching and learning English at Nguyen Duy Trinh High School Some teachers still do not have the knowledge and skills to teach effectively, especially in creating excitement for students In addition, the amount of textbooks and assignments is incomplete and does not ensure quality, affecting the learning process of students

3.3 Create a word matching game on the Quizlet app

Step 1: Create a vocabulary set on Quizlet with vocabulary related to Music topics,

such as "guitar", "piano", "drums", "singer", "songwriter", "concert", "album",

"genre"

Step 2: Select "Learn" mode and select "Match" to start the game

Step 3: Players need to match pairs of vocabulary corresponding to each other by
