The purpose of this report is to prepare an prom plan for students from all universities throughout
Ho Chi Minh City by discussing the marketing strategy, the requirements in human resources and the financial details of the prom The prom is going to held in the Van Thanh tourist village The data for the event is collected by the group of students and the report is individually prepared and all the data is proper researched In the marketing strategy, the marketing mix for the prom has been discussed and further to understand the roles and responsibilities of the staff, the human resources requirements analysis is also being discussed In the end the financial details including the budget and thespending money during the along with break-even point is also been discussed The report is concluded on the basis of overall key findings from the report The report will benefit the Van Thanh tourist village as well as increase sales and schedule a perfect plan for the prom The plan is started with the marketing strategy and which is
A Marketing Strategy
1) Product
Location: Van Thanh restaurant hall
Justification: As you can see the chart below of the survey shows that 54,5% of the choice
belongs to Van Thanh restaurant Besides, this area is a perfect place to hold a prom since the capacity of the restaurant is 350 persons In addition, I have contacted Van Thanh and they claimed that there is a stage and audio and visual equipments in the restaurant

Justification: Although many students prefer buffet party However, Van Thanh does not provide buffet service Besides, I think a buffet party will cost a lot of money and time to prepare Whearas, when we buy the set party menu price of Van Thanh, they will also provide us security guards and waitress This will save you the cost of hiring more workers and save more time And
if we buy beverages from external service ( not including in Van Thanh), there will be a significantly high additional cost (250,000vnd/table)

Justification: As you can see the survey chart below The highest choice propotion belongs to party band Following that is DJ party, Magic show and Comedy show at the proportion of
27,3% The reason why I don’t include the photo booth is because I think it won't be very
practical and effective, because now everyone has a smartphone to take pictures Besides, the cost of renting a photo booth is quite high, so I think we can save money and spend that money
on other things

Pricing Strategy: Because this is the company's first event for the student community The first priority is still to be able to sell tickets at a price that is both accessible to all audiences and profitable at the same time According to the poll many students prefer the price range from 300.000 to 500.000 VND However, after calculating all the cost, I have found that price range is not possible anymore

students registering to participate

4 Promotion
Team up with other university community departments and Create a page on Facebook in order
to promote the event
Sales promotion: For the first 20 customers, there will be a 10% discount on “early bird” tickets
and if customers buy Tickets through any university departments, they are eligible for a 5% discount 5% off ticket price for those who share the prom on social media sites and
refer 5 people to the prom
Justification; The reasons why I choose to Collaborate with other university student community departments is because most of our customers are still students from all around Ho Chi Minh city So it is a good way to promote our prom to all the students from different university And to increase the coverage of our prom, I suggest that we should also Create a Fanpage on Facebook
so that anybody can ask more information about our Prom According to the poll, when asked
“What social media you often use or visit most’, it is shows that 72,7% of the choice
belongs to Facebook, and that is the reason why I choose to create our fanpage on Facebook so that more people will know about our prom And in order to encourage buyers and enhance sales and sell tickets rapidly, I'd like to cut the ticket price by 5% when customers promote the prom
on social networking sites and refer 5 people to the prom., we will have some sales promotion like I have mentioned above

or classical using soft instruments for a more varied ambience The yellow chandelier, as well as the abstract artworks on the wall, will provide the impression of being at an art show, elevating the atmosphere Furthermore, lighting candles on the dining table will make the scene more lyrical and romantic To avoid fire accident, I think we should only
use electric candles Following the Oscars, I decided to utilize a red carpet, gold table mats,
and black chairs to add to the hollywood ambiance and make the prom more noble The balloons will be utilized to embellish the entrance gate The speakers, electrical board, and instruments will all be in top working order to provide the greatest possible experience for the guests There will be two parking lots, one for automobiles and the other for
motorcycles The parking lot must be large enough to accommodate roughly 300
motorcycles and 50 automobiles Because the majority of our visitors are still students, there will be more room for the motorcycle parking lot The parking lot banner will be created in black and gold To show guests solemnity and decorum, employees will dress in tuxedos

Justification: We need an event director to come up with a stage concept and make sure everything runs according to plan Sale event to advise the equipment and ideas for the prom We need 2D and 3D graphic to designers tickets and edit video Audio and visual technician will control the sound, light for the prom Security will be in charge of the prom security
Receptionists will be responsible for welcoming customers Medical staffs will prepare for any emergency situations The accountant will compute the costs and revenue
When asked, “What sort of entertainment would you like to see at this
prom?” according to the study, a live band was chosen by 55.2% of respondents, indicating that
a live band are required We also need a DJ, a magician, and a comedian, as DJ parties are chosen 47,5% of the time, while magic shows and comedy shows are chosen 44,7% of the time
