Chap 1: Introduction

1.1 Abstract

In today's competitive employment market, having a strong personal brand is more

important than ever, especially for graduates entering the professional sector As I

approach graduation day with excitement and a wealth of information obtained from

my school experience, I see the need to develop a marketing communication strategy

to enhance my personal image as a possible job seeker In this essay, I will outline the

activities I want to take to develop my personal brand in order to increase my

employability

1.2 General information about myself

- Full name : Nguyen Van Vinh Phat

- Date of birth : 19/10/2004

- University : Foreign Trade University HCM campus

- Major : Bachelor of Business associate with Bedfordshire University

1.3 Interested position

Based on the major I am pursuing and my interest, I chose the position of supply

chain manager - buyer as the position that I am interested in applying for

Chapter 2: Main body

2.1 Define personal brand

2.1.1 Strength, skills, and attributes

- Knowledge in FMCG industry

With a degree in business administration and a passion for supply chain management,

I looked into and discovered that I was a good fit for the FMCG industry Since then,

I've learnt more about the industry, in addition to what I acquired in school lectures

As a result, I have a strong foundation of expertise in this field

- Carefulness:

Because supply chain procedures are advanced, a high level of precision is required to

avoid disruption My attention to detail ensures that the procurement procedure runs

smoothly and without excessive costs

- Effective communication:

Communication is essential in supply chain management My team has grown adept

at working together as a result of participation in several team projects including both

internal and external teams, as well as ensuring that there are no bottlenecks or

misunderstandings as information flows freely

- Problem-solving:

Unexpected supply chain challenges are typical in supply chain management, and

they include supply chain interruption, quality concerns, and logistical issues These

challenges that my job encounters are well addressed by my good problem-solving

abilities, so I ensure that things travel easily and without interruption

- Technical skills:

The ability to do a specific job related to one's field of employment is referred to as

technical skills It entails competency and experience in using the tools, processes,

and approaches required to complete certain tasks and solve issues After participating

in many events and conducting extensive individual study work by reading library

books on my own, I have acquired a variety of valuable abilities, including search

skills for gathering internet information Mastery of software application packages

such as MS Office, project management software, and data analysis tools is required

for professional competency in office information technology

Because one of my traits is friendliness, I will find it simple to interact with

colleagues or partners

2.1.2 Weakness

- Presenting skill

Although I am a friendly individual, I am not very good at presenting in front of large

groups, thus my presentation abilities are still restricted However, I am currently

working on correcting that shortcoming using tactics such as developing a habit of

planning and carefully preparing presentations Learn how to use body language, eye

contact, and gestures Attend public speaking training programs or workshops

- Planning skill

In addition, I am experiencing certain limits in my planning abilities When it comes

to scheduling activities, I frequently become confused However, by making a

practice of putting down projects with short and essential deadlines to prioritize, I am

progressively correcting this shortcoming

2.1.3 What Makes Me Stand Out

- Passion for Supply Chain Management:

What truly distinguishes me is my strong interest in supply chain management It's not

just a profession to me; it's something I'm very enthusiastic about I am always

looking for ways to further my knowledge and abilities in this profession My

commitment to the area is clear, whether it is keeping up with the newest industry

developments, attending relevant conferences, or seeking more education

- Continuous Learning and Development:

Furthermore, I vow to continue looking for industry trends as well as professional

self-improvement activities to demonstrate my devotion It keeps them inventive,

which is what keeps businesses alive in today's ever changing environment

Handling requests from the store or hotline for items not available in the store (end to

end process)

Check the system to view inventory at the store or distribution center and respond to

the hotline or store;

Search for goods from available suppliers or from other sources in the market;

Check competitor prices to determine product selling price;

Report prices to the store or hotline so that relevant parties can notify customers;

Store order information and solutions for customers to serve as a database to improve

the operating process of the entire company

Handling AX system for new products:

Create code and selling price on the system,

Receive invoices from suppliers, enter purchase requisitions (POs) and inventory;

Work with stores to create sales transactions and record revenue into the system

Perform other tasks as assigned by Direct Manager

- General information:

After 5 years of building and expansion, MIA.vn has now become Vietnam's top true

suitcase supermarket system, with 16 supermarkets spread around Hanoi and Ho Chi

Look for processing providers (both domestic and foreign)

Create purchasing plans (monthly/quarterly/annually) - Purchases to guarantee

inventory in accordance with the company's overall business strategy - Monitor the

The Local Sourcing Specialist is in charge of establishing, verifying, communicating,

and executing sourcing strategies for locally managed categories (at the NiM level),

while adhering to the Strategic Sourcing Process tools, templates, and policies and

employing the Nestlé Standardized Procurement Model
